Are you expecting a special arrival this Christmas, or know someone who is? Would you (or they) like to celebrate with a with a newborn baby portrait, and create a unique, personalised Christmas present for the entire family to enjoy?
I’m a location photographer, specialising in newborn baby portrait photography, London. Your baby portrait session will be carried out in the comfort of your own home (unless you would like me to attend the hospital), with your baby surrounded by those who adore them, and the things that they love. Here are a few newborn photos I have taken to show you what we can achieve.
You may have had on-the-spot photos taken at the hospital, but that’s very different from a professional newborn baby portrait that you and your family can enjoy so many different ways.
I have listed my favourite three ideas that we can use to capture the perfect newborn baby portrait that you and your family will treasure forever.
1. Sleigh bells ring.
Why not create a Christmas themed portrait? Dress your baby in a Christmas themed outfit, my personal favourite is Miss Claus. Place in a white comforter to represent snow, and maybe provide a baby friendly decoration or toy to play with, and to keep them distracted, and you will create a unique, seasonal themed portrait to look back on time and again. Keep this new-born session simple, less is more when it comes to themed new-born portraits.
2. Christmas is coming.
Leading on from the previous idea, why not turn your Christmas themed newborn portrait into Christmas cards, or even announcement cards if your baby is born close to Christmas, to send to loved ones. Your family and friends will love receiving these bespoke cards in the post, many seeing your new-born for the first time.
3. Animal Farm.
If you have pets, a great idea is to include your pet in the photo. You will capture fantastic portraits of the interactions between your baby and your pet, and this may be the perfect opportunity to introduce them for the first time.
Once you have achieved the perfect portraits, why not turn them into a storybook album, or have your favourite baby expression blown up into a canvas. I have so ways we can make your memories precious.
When we work together, I will ensure that a portrait of your newborn will capture the newest, most precious member of the family beautifully. If you are interested, why not drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to hear from you and help make your memories precious.
