Are you expecting a baby this Christmas? Would you like to celebrate with a newborn portrait taken comfort of your own home? I would love to help you create a unique, portrait that the entire family will enjoy.
However you choose to photograph your baby this Christmas, I can capture your newest, most precious member of the family beautifully. You probably have the newborn portrait canvas taken at the hospital hanging on your wall. I want to offer you the opportunity to have a professional, high quality, timeless portrait taken that you and your family can cherish forever.
Most of my clients prefer natural, unposed portraits of their newborn. However, if you would prefer to create the cute factor, here are three ideas:
1. Sleigh bells ring.
Why not create a Christmas themed portrait? Dress your baby in a Christmas themed outfit. Place in a white comforter to represent snow, and maybe provide a baby friendly decoration or toy to keep them distracted. Keep this session simple, less is more when it comes to themed new-born portraits.
2. Christmas is coming.
Why not turn your Christmas themed newborn portrait into Christmas cards, or even announcement cards. Your family and friends will love receiving these bespoke cards in the post, many seeing your baby for the first time.
3. Animal Farm.
If you have pets, include your pet in the portrait. You will capture beautiful, natural portraits of the interactions between your baby and your pet. This may be the perfect opportunity to introduce them for the first time.
Once we have created the perfect portraits, why not turn them into a storybook album, or have your favourite hung on the wall. Small albums for different members of their family for Christmas presents make lovely gifts. Grandparents will probably shed a tear on Christmas Day when they receive a portrait of their newborn Grandchild.
These gifts are timeless, and the opportunities are endless. Email email@example.com to discuss your newborn portrait requirements.
